The Ukrainian Museum presents a new collection of ArtCards from Canadian Ukrainian visual artist Taras (Palijh) Lachowsky aka The Ukrainian Pagan. Through his artwork he hopes to bring the rich and illustrious Ukrainian history to the public at large. He combines various techniques such as Vytynanky (paper cutting) and uses the symbols, patterns and colors from Pysanky (Ukrainian Easter eggs) and Vyshyvanky (embroidery) to create graphic works.
He hopes to preserve Ukrainian culture and to educate people about Ukrainain customs, traditions and history.
