Deer and horses represent prosperity. Pine needles symbolize youth and health.Birds represent fertility and the fulfillment of wishes.Triangles represent the Holy Trinity. Fish represent Christ from the Greek acrostic. A line encircling the egg without a beginning or an end represents eternal life.
Most common used are hen eggs that are often gifted or exchanged among friends during the Easter season.
