Decorative pillows, once a showcase of a homemaker's embroidery skills, were frequently seen piled high on beds. This unique, vintage nyzynka (flat stitch )design features all over multicolor embroidery across the entire front of pillow. Another unique feature is that the years 988-1988 are embroidered at the top of pillow, commemorating 1000 years of Christianity in Ukraine.
