The Ukrainian Academy of Art : A Brief History is composed of two parts. The first is a scholarly essay and chronology of events of 1917. This includes a complete history of the founding of the first higher learning establishment for the arts in Ukraine,from writing the charter to selecting the first rector ,Fedir Krychevsky. The second, illustrated part represents the works of Academy's first professors-Heorhii Narbut, Vasyl Krychevsky, Fedir Krychevsky, Oleksandr Murashko, Mykhailo Boichuk, Abram Manevich , Mykola Burachek, and Mykhailo Zhuk.
